I want to take this time to thank you for all that you and this dojo have done for my daughter Lailah.

A year and half ago she was having a hard time in school, finding her own way and realizing her worth. Friends weren’t true friends they were acquaintances because that was what was offered to her at the time.

Since joining Jeff Ellis’ International Karate Centers Lailah has found the confidence that was hidden but ready to be released.

She was a child who got good grades but she also bored in class and therefore disrupted the sessions at times.

Since joining this dojo she respects herself, her teachers and life more than ever before. Questions I used to have to ask 3-4 times are asked once and twice at most now.
She respects her teachers and classmates and has significantly stopped interrupting the daily routine of others.

She is conscious now of exercising and the food that she eats.

She is excited to come to class, always wants to stay for the advanced class and realizes the time spent here is the best time spent. Her self-confidence has risen drastically. She no longer seeks out a “friendship” when there isn’t one there.

You have not only changed her outlook on life now but her future. Thank you for believing in her because she now believes in herself.
This has been her biggest accomplishment in her life.
We both look forward to many more years of continuous education and improvement.
